How do we best understand the Bible? While many things are clear in the Bible thanks to modern translation, reading it can still be daunting, especially for someone new to the Christian faith. In this video, I discuss seven keys to help us read the Bible and understand the scriptures.

Are we living in the end times? In this episode, we explore the theological and historical perspectives on eschatology, emphasizing the need for humility and wisdom when interpreting biblical prophecy. In this episode, we explore the highly debated topic of the "Mark of the Beast" from the Book of Revelation. Instead of debating what the Mark of the Beast will be in terms of form, we ask the question "why is taking the Mark of the Beast so wrong?"
We discuss how the true issue regarding the mark is not identifying the mark physically but understanding the deeper spiritual implications of choosing between God's kingdom and the world’s provision.

In my opinion, what would be considered the scariest verse in the Bible?
Although I don't like to think of any scripture as scary, most would probably consider Matthew 7:21-23 somewhat the scariest. This is where Jesus says "depart from Me for I never knew you, you who practice lawlessness."
However, there is one scripture I consider more relevant and pressing for us Christians today - take a watch of the video to find out which one.

Why do we struggle with our assurance of salvation?
Today, we explore how Christians can be assured of their salvation. Many struggle with doubts due to personal failures, but salvation is based on Christ’s finished work, not our performance. In fact, conviction of sin and a desire to live righteously are signs and evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.

Why are there so many different denominations and which one is applying the doctrines of the Bible correctly?
This episode explores how we ought to approach theological differences between denominations. It's important to define the distinction between essential doctrines that all denominations must agree on, and non-essential issues where believers can exercise some liberty. We look at some examples of essential and non-essential doctrines of the Christian faith.

If Jesus defeated sin on the cross, why does it seem so prevalent today?
In this episode, we explore why sin still exists despite Jesus' victory on the cross. While sin has been defeated, it won't be fully destroyed until Christ's second coming, which explains its continued presence in the world. We explore two questions - why does sin still seem so prevalent in the world? And why do Christians still wrestle with sin on a personal level?
